I have practiced law in Argentina since 1997 and in Florida since 2022, admitted under both the Florida Bar and the Colegio de Abogados de Buenos Aires. That dual admission is not a credential on a wall — it is how the work gets done. We structure the deal, review the contract, and keep it compliant under both legal systems at once.
We built FAALBA for this moment. Argentina is industrializing through the largest investment regimes in its history. RIGI offers thirty-year stability for projects above two hundred million dollars. The Súper RIGI opens the door to entirely new industries: critical minerals processing, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, batteries, mining.
Every one of those projects needs binational legal structuring from the first day, not after the first dispute. That is why our binational Committee works inside the framework rather than commenting on it from outside.
We also set up the business itself. Entity formation in Florida, Delaware, and Argentina. A Miami soft landing. Tax compliance across both systems, from FIRPTA and FATCA to AFIP and ARCA. One platform, both jurisdictions, nothing falling between them; And we deliver services, not only membership: vetted referrals among lawyers, bankers, and professionals credentialed on both sides; counsel available by matter; and an annual USA–Argentina Summit that brings the corridor into one room.

Industry Vertical Board
The Industry Vertical Board organizes FAALBA's deal flow by sector rather than treating cross-border business as one undifferentiated pipeline. Each vertical — Mining & Critical Minerals, Oil & Gas, and the Súper RIGI industries (semiconductors, AI, biotech, batteries) — is led by members with direct expertise in that space, on both sides of the border.
Academic & University Partnerships Committee
FAALBA connects the next generation of legal and business professionals across the United States and Argentina. Through our Academia Committee, we partner with universities on both sides to build structured pathways between classroom and career, giving students direct exposure to the cross-border legal, regulatory, and commercial work that defines the US-Argentina relationship today.
Cross-Border Structuring & Tax Compliance Committee
